I’m a full-stack developer highly skilled in engineering web apps from
top to bottom with intuitive UI/UX, and a React enthusiast with a
passion for problem-solving on the front-end.
My current role as a full-stack engineer at Tenantbase has helped me
grow immensely as an engineer. Given the small nature of our team,
I’ve gained experience wearing many different hats - web developer,
designer, leader of company-wide meetings, project manager, and
conductor of interviews. Our highly collaborative environment has
enabled me to pair with, and mentor, other teammates on a day-to-day
basis. Both my team size and the remote aspect of my work during the
pandemic really emphasized the importance of effective communication
and helped me strengthen that skill.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCLA with a degree in Cognitive
Science and a Specialization in Computing. Having been educated in
both psychology and programming, I enjoy integrating what I’ve learned
about human behavior into developing products with seamless user
experiences. I utilize industry best practices and think through
potential challenges when making design decisions in order to ensure
that the product is accessible and user-friendly for every individual.
I approach every challenge with a positive and determined attitude —
including my late-night debugging sessions — and I don't give up until
every detail looks and functions the way it's supposed to. I strive to
work on teams where I can not only build meaningful products, but also
grow as a developer and learn from those around me. I love finding
ways to improve and always encourage feedback on my work. My creative
energy, strong attention to detail, and friendly demeanor would prove
valuable on any team.
When I’m not getting front and back ends to play nicely, I can be found
eating ice cream 🍦, going to Zumba 💃, or trying to figure out where my
cat is hiding 🤔
I'm an avid learner who loves to strengthen my skills and discover new
frameworks.
